The UCR411A receiver provides professional performance and a versatile feature set in a compact design for field and location production. All settings are made from the front panel with a powerful LCD interface, making the unit ideal for use on sound carts, in portable bags, and in rack-mount multi-couplers. To alleviate interference problems in an increasingly congested RF spectrum, an RF spectrum analyzer is built into the receiver. The receiver tunes across its 25.6 MHz tuning range and records RF activity with markers on the LCD screen. Finding clear operating frequencies is a quick, simple process. The UCR411A is compatible with all 400 Series Lectrosonics wireless transmitters (and some other transmitter types) and can be powered with internal 9V batteries or external DC.

The mechanical design of the receiver combines field proven features developed over many years of experience in motion picture and television production markets. The machined aluminum housing and panels are surfaced with electrostatic powder coated and anodized finishes with laser etched markings to withstand the rigors of field production.

UCR411a Firmware History: Radio Board

This model is not capable of firmware updates in the field so no files are available for download. Contact Lectrosonics if you need a firmware update.

UCR411a/UCR511a Radio Board v6.3 – 01 November 2018

UCR411a/UCR511a Radio Board v6.2 – 16 August 2013

Made yet more changes to factory testing functions related to RF metering for ease of manufacturing. Any units upgraded to this firmware revision (or to any later revision derived from this one), from any version older than v6.1, must have the RF meter recalibrated.

UCR411a/UCR511a Radio Board v6.1 – 30 July 2013

Made more changes to factory testing functions related to RF metering for ease of manufacturing. Any units upgraded to this firmware revision (or to any later revision derived from this one) must have the RF meter recalibrated.

UCR411a/UCR511a Radio Board v5.4 – 11 October 2012

  • Fixed a problem with the spectrum scan function, wherein a signal on the first 3 frequencies (00, 01, 02) might not be indicated after wrapping around from FF. This problem was applicable only to newer RF boards with the LMX2485 PLL. Any UCR411A that shipped with firmware older than v5.0 preinstalled from the factory has the older PLL, is immune to this problem, and would work identically with v5.3 or v5.4 firmware.
  • Made changes to factory testing functions related to RF metering for ease of manufacturing. As a result the RF meter calibration procedure is now different, so any units upgraded to this firmware revision (or a later revision derived from this one) must have the RF meter recalibrated using the new procedure.

UCR411a/UCR511a Radio Board v5.3 – 19 June 2012
