The LT transmitter offers a full set of professional features in a compact, rugged package. The unit is compatible with all Digital Hybrid Wireless® receivers and even some from other manufacturers, making it comfortable in a wide variety of applications from video production to theater, stage and house of worship.
The LT can be configured to operate as a “one touch” device with a single power on/off switch on the top panel, or with full access to all operational parameters using the side panel membrane switches and LCD interface. The top panel switch can also be configured to provide a mute or talkback function.
Below are links to the current firmware versions for the LT and LT/E01 transmitters.
These are zip files. After downloading extract the file into a temporary folder. Use the USB Firmware Updater program to update firmware.

Special note regarding LT and LT/E01 firmware:
The LT and LT/E01 models require different firmware loads. The LT is sold in the US and Canada; the LT/E01 is sold in the European Union. Be sure to download the correct update file and double-check before installing!
Please note that there are two versions of LT/E01 firmware. Units with version 1.xx firmware currently installed can only be upgraded to the latest v1.xx firmware; units with version 2.xx firmware installed can only be upgraded to the latest v2.xx firmware.
Please note: version 6.x firmware for the LT is for use only in new product shipped after October 13, 2018 to US customers. These will bear the following new FCC ID numbers:
- DBZLTA1A
- DBZLTB1A
These ID numbers indicate conformance to the ETSI standard now in effect for wireless microphone transmitters in the United States and Canada. Here the “Nu Hybrid” compatibility mode replaces the old “Hybrid” mode used in previous 1.x and 2.x versions of the product.
Are you looking for firmware updates for older LT transmitters with version 1.x series firmware?
For older LT transmitters which originally shipped with v1.x firmware, series 7.x firmware is available in which the “Nu Hybrid” compatability mode replaces the old “Hybrid” mode used in previous versions of the product. “Nu Hybrid” mode conforms to the ETSI RF emission standard now in effect for wireless microphone transmitters in the US and Canada.
Version 7.x firmware is not compatible with newer transmitters with version 6.x firmware. Do not install version 7.x firmware in transmitters with version 6.x firmware! In this case the higher version number (7 vs 6) does not imply upward compatibility or additional features.
Are you looking for firmware updates for LT transmitters with version 2.x series firmware? If so, version 6.x firmware can be installed.
Note: in version 6.x, “NU Hybrid” replaces the “Hybrid” mode from the earlier version. “Nu Hybrid” mode conforms to the ETSI RF emission standard now in effect for wireless microphone transmitters in the US and Canada.

LT Firmware Update v7.01 – 11 August 2022
- Fixed a bug arising when the programmable switch was configured as an on/off switch. In this case, attempting to turn off the device by pressing the power button on the keypad caused a message to pop up in the LCD screen and then disappear too quickly for the operator to read it.
- Fixed another bug arising when the programmable switch was configured as an on/off switch. In this case, the user could get stuck in an endless loop when attempting to turn off the device by pressing the power button on the keypad. The LCD would alternate between the “Powering down” page and the “Switch disabled” page.
- Fixed a bug where sweeping though frequencies by pressing and holding an arrow button caused RF transmission on an undefined channel until the arrow button was released.
- When an IR sync fails, device will now restore operating parameters to the state they were in before the sync was initiated.

- Backport of “NU Hybrid” functionality for older hardware which previously required version 1.x firmware. Do not install this on LT transmitters with firmware version 6.x!

LT Firmware Update v1.05 – 23 April 2015
- Added support for new sonic remote control tones, including relative “volume up” and “volume down” commands, and commands to change the low frequency roll-off setting.
- LED Off feature: Changed labels associated with the feature, for clarity. Also dissociated this feature from the LED backlight, which is no longer affected, and made this feature inaccessible when the settings are “locked”.
- Changed splash screen to say “Band” instead of “Block”.
- It is no longer possible to power the transmitter off from the menu if the top panel switch is configured as a power switch. The prevents loop conditions and other errant behavior resulting from two “off” switches.
- The transmitter may now be powered on with “mute” or “talkback” already engaged via the top panel switch, and the Right Thing will happen. In the case of “talkback”, this means a dummy signal must be sent in “non-talkback” mode for a short time to engage the receiver.
- Fixed a user interface bug wherein changing compatibility modes with talkback active could cause anomalous behavior.
- Reduced latency in limiter sidechain for improved limiter responsiveness.

- Added block 606 legacy feature, which can be used to pair band B1 and C1 transmitters with legacy block 606 receivers. This version behaves similarly to v2.11 if the unit is not on bands B1 or C1, or if the block 606 feature has not been explicitly enabled. Block 606 is a special frequency range used in the United Kingdom.
