The HHa Digital Hybrid Wireless handheld transmitter represents an elegant solution for a variety of wireless microphone applications including live performance, broadcast, AV rental and houses of worship. The HHa incorporates many advanced features to provide high-quality speech and vocal reinforcement. Along with providing peerless audio quality with wide frequency response and dynamic range in 400 Series and Nu Hybrid Modes, the technology used in the HHa includes compatibility modes for Lectrosonics 200 Series, 100 Series, Mode 3, IFB receivers and some systems from other top manufacturers. Newer Digital Hybrid transmitters only have NUHYB, IFB and Mode 3

Below are links to the current firmware versions for the HHa transmitter. Note that the HHa and HHa/E01 models require different firmware loads. The HHa is sold in the US and Canada; the HHa/E01 is sold in the European Union. Be sure to download the correct update file and double-check before installing!

These are zip files, after downloading extract it into a temporary folder. Use the USB Firmware Updater program to update firmware

Please note: version 6.x firmware for the HHa is for use only in new product shipped after October 13, 2018 to US customers. These will bear the following new FCC ID numbers:

  • DBZHHAA1A
  • DBZHHAB1A

These ID numbers indicate conformance to the ETSI standard now in effect for wireless microphone transmitters in the United States and Canada. Here the “Nu Hybrid” compatibility mode replaces the old “400” mode used in previous versions of the product.

HHa Firmware Update v6.00 – 11 October 2018

Introduces “Nu Hybrid” compat mode, which replaces the legacy “400” mode. “Nu Hybrid” mode conforms to the ETSI standard now in effect for wireless microphone transmitters in the United States. Version 6.x firmware is for use in units shipping with these FCC ID numbers:

  • DBZHHAA1A
  • DBZHHAB1A

All new product shipped after October 13th, 2018 to US customers will bear these FCC ID numbers and use 6.x firmware.

HHa Firmware Update v1.03 – 05 April 2016

  • Fixed bug which caused backlight timeout control screen to “stick” (i.e. the BACK button wouldn’t work).
  • The programmable side button no longer retriggers a timed out backlight if the selected button function is “none”.
  • The talkback function can now be automatically turned on or off as needed via an IR sync operation.
